The Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs will be squaring off in the Western Conference battle of American Basketball League 2019-20.
Team Preview
The Rockets have arguably been the top side who has won five of their last six games while going 4-1 inside the league Bubble. In this winning streak, they defeated Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, and Los Angeles Lakers. Courtesy of Austin Rivers’ career-high 41 points off of the bench, The Rockets overcame Sacramento Kings with a 129-112 victory on Sunday. James Harden also paced Houston with 32 points.
Meanwhile, San Antonio is coming off a second straight win over the New Orleans Pelicans 122-113. DeRozna led Spurs with 27 points while Rudy Gay contributed 19 points off of the bench in the win. They are still in the race the final postseason spot in the Western Conference but there is no room for the error. If they ended up as a winner in the remaining two matches, they would still need plenty of dependence on other matches. The Spurs are placed at 11th in the standings of Western Conference as Suns moved to 10th after winning the last fixture against Oklahoma City.
