After battling out in the opening match, Cape Town Blitz and Jozi Stars are set to lock horns again in the 6th match of Africa T20 league 2019 on the 14th of November 2019 at Newlands, Cape Town. Both teams will be playing their third match of the season. After winning the opening match against the Stars, Cape Town Blitz lost its second match to Paarl Rocks by a massive margin of 86 runs. The Jozi Stars are the defending champions but have lost both the matches they have played so far and will be eager to open their account on the points table in this season.
Moeen Ali is no longer going to be a part of Blitz in Africa T20 league as the all-rounder was roped in as a replacement for just two games of the tournament. Wahab Riaz and Asif Ali are expected to be available for selection from this match.
Reeza Hendricks, who has two half centuries from two matches, is again going to be a key batsman for Jozi Stars. Stars also will be relying on South Africa’s premier fast bowler Kagiso Rabada to get through Cape Town’s strong top-order.
Pitch Report
Newlands has traditionally been known for providing one of the best batting surfaces in the country. We will get to see plenty of bounce, and a lightning-fast outfield to help the batsmen put on an exhibition.

We will hopefully get some respite from the rain in this match as apart from a few clouds there is no forecast of rain. The temperature is expected to be around 16-17 degrees.
