They lost the first match against South Africa by a huge margin of 41 runs but dominated the West Indies completely in the second match and won the match by 56 runs. The situation in Sharjah is very good for Afghanistan and it will be very difficult to compete with spinners like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi. This is where Afghanistan has a big advantage over Scotland.
Scotland's team
Scotland has performed well in the World T20 Cup 2021 so far. They did not play any warm-up match, but played three matches in the qualifiers and won all three of them. The most impressive part of Scotland's team has been its bowling. Josh Davey is the leading wicket-taker with 8 wickets, apart from Chris Greaves, Brad Wheal and Mark Watt have also done very well. We have no doubt that Scotland can bowl well and give Afghanistan a tough fight.
