Indian T20 League's 14th season concluded in UAE and the World T20 Cup kick started just after. We saw a lot of overseas players participating in the league which provided players an experience to play on the UAE pitches. Indian team has played two warm up matches against England and Australia, respectively, and has won easily against both the teams, which hints that men in blue are most likely to lift up the trophy.
India is scheduled to start their campaign with a match against Pakistan on Sunday, the 24th of October. The much-awaited match between both the teams will be their first match in the competition. Pakistan has never defeated India in any of the match in the World T20 Cup, and Indian team would want to retain that record.
In this article, you will read about players who can be destructive and help India lift the trophy.
KL Rahul
Rahul is in tremendous form as we saw in the Indian T20 League. He was one of the most consistent batsmen in the league and was on top of the list of the most runs scored before the qualifiers. He is a phenomenal batsman who knows how to play patiently in test cricket and aggressively in the T20 format. He was the orange cap holder in the previous season of the league.

Virat Kohli
Kohli would be leading the team for the last time in this World T20 Cup and he will look forward to end his captaincy with a title. He has never won any international cup and this would be his last chance. The squad looks good and Kohli would try hard to convert this opportunity into a win.
He will be batting at the number 3 and his records are pretty smooth at this number. The average runs he has scored so far is unbelievable, he has played a total of 16 innings and has scored 777 runs so far, averaging 86.33 runs. He has hit 9 half centuries and if he continues this form, it won't be a tough task for team India to win their second trophy.
Rohit Sharma
Sharma is one of the most experienced players in the squad and is most likely to lead the team after Kohli. He is one of those openers who has a good record in his name. He would be giving the team a good head start as he has been doing so far. Talking about his records, he has played 28 matches in 6 World T20 Cup and has scored 673 runs, with an average of 39.58.
Jasprit Bumrah
Bumrah has got good pace and performed well in the Indian T20 League. He ended his season with 21 wickets and was on the third position on the table of most wickets taken. Bumrah has emerged out to be an excellent bowler for team India and is loved by the fans.
