Manchester United welcome German Club RB Leipzig to Old Trafford for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League 2020-21.
Match Timings: Oct 29, 1:30 AM
Team Preview
Man United is ready to extend their winning run in Champions League 2020-21 after having a dream start with an away win against last season’s runner-up PSG, thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. United made a drastic comeback after a shocking 6-1 defeat to Spurs last month. They have been clinically great in attack. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is boosted after the win against PSG last week. In a previous home game in Premier League, they played a goalless draw, thanks to a fine save from goalkeeper Mendy. Cavani tried to find the opportunity in last few minutes but the Red Devils walked out with one point.
Meanwhile, Leipzig made into the semifinals of the last season and since the semifinal defeat to PSG, the German Club haven’t faced a single defeat in any competition. Julian Nagelsmann's side have won six matches from their previous seven from all competitions. The German outfit kicked off their Champions League 2020-21 campaign with a 2-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir last Tuesday, courtesy of the double strike from Angelino. Nagelsmann's men are entering into the game with a 2-1 victory over Hertha Berlin at the weekend in Bundesliga. Both sides will face each other for the first time and we may expect a cracker game of Football.
