Punjab got a dream start as they removed their top-order on just 38. Rohit Sharma, Suryakuamr Yadav and Ishan Kishan got out on single digit. Krunal Pandya joined De Cock to deliver some recovery and the dup put 58 runs stand before Krunal got out on 34. De Cock got his 4th half-century of this season. Punjab got Pandya and De Cock in successive overs to get back into the game. The flag over trauma continued for Punjab as Pollard and Coulter Nile smashed 57 runs off 21 balls to take Mumbai towards an imposing total of 176. Pollard scored 34 off just 12 balls, including 4 sixes.
Punjab’s start was quite good, having scored 33 in first 3 overs. Bumrah opened the door for Mumbai to pick Mayank on 11. Punjab finished powerplay on 51/1 with Rahul and Gayle on strike.
