Manchester United makes the trip up to Newcastle United on Saturday in Premier League 2020-21 clash.
Match Timings: Oct 18, 12:30 AM
Team Preview
After a disappointing 6-1 debacle to Tottenham last month, United is ready to take a fresh start in Premier League. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a dull campaign so far with one win out of three which also came against Brighton in the injury time. United started off with a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace but the defeat to Spurs created a series of questions for Solskjaer. The only positive thing happened for the Reds Devils, picking a 3-2 defeat in EFL Cup Round-of-16 ties. Next week, they would also start their Champions League 2020-21 campaign against PSG.
After three games, United find themselves at 16th spot with only three points. Newcastle last faced Manchester United in a Premier League game in 2013 and The Magpies won 1-0 at Old Trafford. Newcastle side has the four points advantage over United and sitting at 9th with just one defeat. Steve Bruce’s men recently defeated Newport in EFL Cup to crack round-of-8 ties with Brentford in December. Magpies would try to target United’s defence as United have conceded most goals (11) this season, after West Brom (13).
