Germany continues its Nations League 2020-21 campaign with a home clash against Switzerland on Tuesday night.
Match Timings: Oct 14, 12:15 AM
Team Preview
Germany welcome Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League 2020-21 to find another victory. Joachim Low's side is fresh off a 2-1 victory over Ukraine on Saturday, courtesy of Matthias Ginter and Leon Goretzka's strikes. Germany’s first two group encounters ended in a draw against Spain and Switzerland. Die Mannschaft is desperate to top the group. In 2018-19, they picked up just two points in the group stage. They have already qualified for next summer's European Championships and the recent form put them ahead of Switzerland. Germany cannot even play a draw on Tuesday if they want to upstage Spain from the top spot.
Switzerland, meanwhile, are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Spain on Saturday as Mikel Oyarzabal scored the only goal in the 14th minute. Vladimir Petkovic's team are placed at the bottom in their respective group, picking just one point from their three matches. Last month, they also lost to Ukraine and played a draw with Germany. Swiss side made into the 2019-19 semifinal but this edition is giving them tough questions. They also have qualified for next summer’s European Championship.
