Toronto Raptors face Brooklyn Nets in the second game of seven-matches series of the first-round postseason playoff in American Basketball League 2019-20.

Team Preview 

After finishing 7th in the Eastern Conference, Brooklyn Nets faced Toronto Raptors in the first game of the 7-matches Super-series on Tuesday. Their task was up against the defending Champion Raptors and they entered off a one-point defeat against Tail Blazers. Raptors took the first quarter 37-20 and after the end of the first half, Raptors had 22-points advantage following Brooklyn’s comeback in the last five minutes. Nets put up a valiant effort in the third quarter by taking it 35-22 but it wasn’t enough as the Raptors finished with 134-110. Raptors shot 22 of 44 from beyond the arc while Brooklyn shot 46.7 percent from the floor and hit just 13 of 42 from beyond the arc. 

Fred VanVleet led Toronto with scoring 30 points and dishing out 11 assists. He became the first Raptor to combined 30-plus points and 10-plus assists in the playoffs. The star guard player Siakam added double-double while Serge Ibaka contributed 22 points in the win. For Brooklyn Nets, Guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot scored a career-high 26 points in 33 minutes off the bench while Starter Joe Harris scored 19 points and six rebounds. Allen netted a double-double with scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds.
