Team Preview
Pollard-led Trinbago is the top contender to win this year’s title as getting the advantage of playing all games in home conditions. After missing out Bravo last season due to injury, TKR will get him back and the management retained Pollard as the captain ahead of Bravo who led Trinbago to three titles. Sunil Narine and Lendl Simmons should open for Trinbago with Munro at number three. Fawad Ahmed and Khary Pierre could play a vital role on the spinning track.
Meanwhile, Guyana will miss Shoaib Malik this season and Ross Taylor would play a similar role under the new skipper Chris Green. Brandon King, the top scorer of the last season would open with Chanderpaul Hemraj prior to Shimron Hetmyer at No. 3 and Pooran at next. The spinners would have the advantage at Tarouba and the duo of Tahir and Green might trouble Trinbago on a challenging track.

Batting first would be an ideal call as the surface gets slower later the match progresses. A score between 150 and 160 would be a good total. Slight rainfall is expected on Tuesday.
