The wake of Coronavirus (COVID – 19), the Indian T20 League governing council announced that a meeting will be held on March 14 to discuss the ongoing situation and pivotal steps to be taken for the upcoming edition.
The cash-rich league is scheduled to begin on March 29, with defending champions Mumbai hosting Chennai at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier, the President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly stated that Indian T20 League will go as per plan.
However, with growing concerns and rising cases, it is to be seen as what will be the final decision of apex body.
